6. Post-Award

GSA sends an email containing the GSA Schedule newly awarded contract number.  K&G prepares and delivers “Next Steps” information to the client, registers the new contract with the Vendor Support Center, and begins preparation of the GSA Catalog for upload to GSA Advantage!, the online database for all GSA Contractors.  Included in the K&G full service contract is a “Post Award” conference call with the clients to address; (1) compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), (2) adherence to the basis of contract award, (3) GSA sales tracking, (4) mandatory reporting requirements, (5) additional contract compliance issues, and (6) preparation recommendations for the initial GSA Contractor Assistance Visit (CAV).

5. Negotiations

GSA requests a price negotiation call after the clarifications have been accepted. K&G schedules the meeting and facilitates a the final price negotiations. Typical final price negotiations involve; (1) The GSA Contracting Officer review of contract terms and conditions, (2) price negotiations, and (3) GSA request for a Final Proposal Revision (FPR).  K&G prepares and submits the FPR on behalf of our clients within 24 hours.  Upon receipt of the signed FPR, the GSA Contracting Officer will process the contract award.

4. Clarification

GSA sends, via email, the client and K&G a request for clarification or “Clarification Letter.” Typical clarifications requests; (1) Refreshed information, (2) An explanation of financial standing, (3) Additional explanation of discounting policies and procedures, and/or (4) Revision of information in the Contracting Officer’s preferred format. K&G reviews the clarification letter and prepares a response to GSA on behalf of our clients. K&G is sensitive to government response times and delivers the client’s clarification within 48 hours upon GSA request.

3. Proposal Submission & Review
Our Clients receive the final draft GSA Schedule Proposal Package to approve prior to our submission to GSA.  When GSA receives the proposal, a GSA Contracting Officer or Specialist will be assigned to review the offer.  During GSA’s review period, K&G works to expedite the process and maintain contact with the GSA Contracting Officer and the client throughout the review period.  
  

2. Proposal Preparation

In order to prepare a compliant proposal, our clients are required to provide relevant corporate information.  The K&G Senior Consultant facilitates weekly status calls, scheduled at the client’s convenience to; (1) present progress, (2) address next steps, (3) assign responsibility, and (4) respond to any questions or concerns.
